From Grey to Green — Pakistan’s Dream
"Plant. Protect. Participate." Environmental protection is human protection. Connecting climate awareness with mass community tree planting and youth leadership to build resilient cities across Pakistan.
Over 1,000+ Native Saplings Planted
Pakistan is ranked among the top 10 most climate-vulnerable nations globally, suffering deadly heatwaves and flash floods. Karachi's concrete expansion has caused dangerous urban heat island effects.
During August 2025, FJMEMORIAL conducted four intensive plantation drives across educational campuses, public parks, roadsides, and hospital grounds. We strictly select indigenous shade-providing trees (Neem, Peepal, Moringa, Amaltas, and Jamun) that absorb CO2, resist heatwaves, and consume minimal groundwater.
Youth-Led Environmental Action
School and university volunteers actively digging soil, planting saplings, and adopting green patches in Karachi.
Community Caretaking
Every sapling is assigned a neighborhood caretaker, ensuring regular irrigation and protection from stray animals until root stability.
Environmental Education
Conducting interactive workshops with young students on climate change, air quality, plastic waste reduction, and civic duty.
SEPA Alignment
Collaborating with the Sindh Environmental Protection Agency on provincial forestry benchmarks and climate resilience targets.
Plant a Tree as Continuing Charity
"There is no Muslim who plants a tree or sows seeds, and then a bird, a person, or an animal eats from it, but that is regarded as charity for him." (Sahih Bukhari). Sponsor 10, 50, or 100 trees today.
